What is bluelight?

A section of the light spectrum that is visible to human vision is referred to as blue light, also known as high-energy visible (HEV) light. We can benefit from it in moderation, but excessive exposure can lead to a number of health issues.

Although the sun provides the majority of your blue light exposure, some medical professionals have expressed concern about the possibility that artificial blue light could harm your eyes.

Research has indicated that blue light causes cell damage in lab animals. There isn’t much evidence yet that the blue light emitted by LED screens and digital gadgets harms human eyes.

However, extended use of digital devices causes digital eyestrain, so if job or school need long periods of screen time, it’s a good idea to take frequent breaks.

You might wish to turn on amber light on your devices or cease using them before bedtime because blue light can also disrupt your body’s natural cycles of wakefulness and sleep.
